Film Site Location
From full length feature films to TV shorts, Crown Rose is ideal for a historic farm / mansion house location.
Over 150 Years of History
Crown Rose is a circa 1856 Antebellum Mansion which sits on 76 beautiful acres of farm land and surrounded by a park that is 217 acres, yet we are within easy access to all three major airports in MD, VA, and DC.
There are multiple areas to film, each with its own unique atmosphere including a stone and wood bank barn, slave quarters, bomb shelter, a large scenic pond, English rose gardens, 15 acres of dense woods, 1 acre of open woods, 43 acres of open farm fields, and 18 acres of manicured lawn and gardens with a white tear drop bricked line pebble driveway in front of the Mansion. The three story Greek Revival Mansion has over 7,300 sq. ft with 11 ft ceilings and 7 fireplaces.
Multiple Filming Locations
Our bungalow has 11 ft height ceilings and is approximately 1,600 sq. ft. of beautiful craftsmanship like that of the Mansion, also with a large stone fire place and a big covered porch with a great old potbelly stove in the kitchen.
You can rent any of the following outbuildings on the grounds if you choose; the large bank barn with silo and corn crib, the stone slave quarters with fire place, a smokehouse, a three room bomb shelter, spring house, and the 3 car garage.
Rentals for filming can be for the whole estate or just different locations on the grounds or if you just need one of the buildings.
